I <3 Neil Gaiman
As I’m reading through the newest Entertainment Weekly mag, I’m crushed by the fact that not only does Doctor Who not make it into the top 100, there was a plethora of CRAP on the list. Which makes me angry. Any reality tv show other than American Idol should NOT be on the list, but hey, what the hell do I know.
But oh, that clever man, Neil, he goes and says that the Weeping Angels are #3 on his list of New Classic Monsters.
Thank you sir, for not only mentioning one of the BEST episodes ever, but for mentioning the show in the first place.
And yay for Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy and Neil’s Sandman made it in the top 50 of the new classic books list.

I never knew you were a Whovian. We could have talked about that!
I wasn’t a big fan of Tenant at first and didn’t like what they were doing with Rose, but I got over it. Loved that K-9 made a comeback!
I would have liked a couple seasons with Christopher Eccleston, but I guess he had things to do, places to go, and really wanted to be invisible.
Yeah, I wasn’t a fan before, though I had heard of it. It wasn’t until Tennant that I became a huge completely obsessive dork of a fan. I really love that man and his quirkiness.
I didn’t appreciate Eccleston until after he left, which makes me sad, because I really would have liked at least one more season with him.
One of my favorite episodes happened to be the Sarah Jane episode with K9. She says tells Rose some of the most amazing advice… ever!
Well yes, we could easily talk about Doctor Who. I have seen all of the 2005+ episodes at least 5 times (and that’s no exaggeration). Some upwards of 30. My obsession is really rather disgusting, tbh.
